PNS POSTER PRESENTATIONS & REQUIRED STAND BY TIMES

Please reference your abstract notification for your assigned poster number and poster session.

Full abstract text and poster numbers will be included in the E-Poster Hall and the mobile conference app, which will be available to all registered meeting participants on Friday, 6 May. The final program and abstract supplement will also be posted on the PNS Annual Meeting website for public viewing on Friday, 6 May. All abstract details are published as submitted in the PNS abstract submission system (Attendee Interactive).

POSTER SESSION I: Sunday, 15 May

Mandatory Stand by Time: 12.00 – 14.00
Poster Set-Up:  17.30 – 19.00 on Saturday, 14 May
Poster Dismantle:  10.00 – 10.30 on Monday, 16 May

PNS In-Person Poster Presentation Guidelines (all accepted abstracts):  Please make sure your posters are within the dimensions of 37 inches wide x 43-59 inches high (95 cm wide x 110-150 cm high); portrait orientation.

Poster Presentation Local Printing Option in Miami: The PNS has arranged with the FedEx Office (located within the InterContinental Miami hotel) for you to print your posters at a discounted rate. Orders can be submitted now through the Annual Meeting, but they must be paid for in advance to be printed.

PNS e-Poster Guidelines (all accepted abstracts): We encourage all presenters to upload an e-Poster for on-demand viewing. This is an excellent opportunity to maximize the viewing of your poster. The PNS e-Poster hall gallery will be available for on-demand viewing from 6 May – 31 December. There are no assigned standby times for the e-Poster hall.

Instructions for the preparation of your e-Poster:

  • PowerPoint file or PDF file- landscape format (ratio of 16/9 ideal for the e-Poster (not the printed one))
  • Please do not password protect your PowerPoint file
  • One (1) slide only
  • PNS encourages you to use the e-Poster templates. Please note: the use of our templates is not mandatory, and presenters are free to submit their own designs and color schemes.

PNS ORAL PRESENTATIONS

Please note: the PNS is unique in that all oral presenters are also required to present a poster during an assigned poster session during the meeting. Please reference the poster details above for additional information.

1. Platform Presentations (Grand Ballroom, 2nd Floor): Time allotted is 12 minutes, plus 3 minutes for questions. PowerPoint presentations are required.

2. Oral Poster Presentations (Grand Ballroom, 2nd Floor): Time allotted is 3 minutes, plus 2 minutes for questions. PowerPoint presentations are required. Please limit your presentation to 4 slides.

    • Slide 1: Title slide with poster number,  acknowledgments/affiliations (and any relevant disclosures)
    • Slide 2: Rationale slide with a summary of previously published data, the definition of question/hypothesis, and methods used
    • Slide 3: Results slide with most critical experimental results
    • Slide 4: Conclusions slide (add poster number)

3. Clinical Highlights (Grand Ballroom, 2nd Floor): Time allotted is 8 minutes to breifly present the main message of your poster, plus 2 minutes for questions. PowerPoint presentations are required.

4. Basic Science Highlights Poster Presentation (Versailles Ballroom, 2nd Floor): Time allotted is 4 minutes, plus 2 minutes for questions/discussion. PowerPoint presentations are required. Please limit your presentation to 4 slides.

    • Slide 1: Title slide with poster number,  acknowledgments/affiliations (and any relevant disclosures)
    • Slide 2: Rationale slide with a summary of previously published data, the definition of question/hypothesis, and methods used
    • Slide 3: Results slide with most critical experimental results
    • Slide 4: Conclusions slide (add poster number)

5. Guided Poster Hall Tour Presentations (Versailles or Trianon Ballroom, 2nd Floor)*: Time allotted is 2 minutes to present your key findings, plus 2 minutes for questions. An additional 15-minutes of group discussion is allocated at the end of each tour to discuss common themes amongst the posters selected for the tour. PowerPoint presentations are required. Please limit your presentation to 2 slides.

    • Slide 1: Title slide with poster number,  acknowledgments/affiliations (and any relevant disclosures)
    • Slide 2: Summary of key findings (add poster number)
